In the event of serious weather conditions, the School will close typically in accordance with the Boulder Valley School District (or Boulder County if BVSD is not in session). There are several quick ways to find out if School is closed due to inclement weather:

- Check the BVSD website at www.bvsd.org. A red dot on the main page, means schools are closed.
- If school closes before 4:00 p.m. due to inclement weather closure in line with BVSD/Boulder County closing for afternoon or evening programming, parents are contacted to pick up their children. Please be prepared for such an instance by informing individuals listed as emergency contacts that if parents cannot be contacted, they are called to pick up your child/ren.
- Please be sure your emergency contact information is current and correct with your child’s teachers.
- Listen to 850 KOA am radio for a cancellation announcement for Boulder Valley Public Schools.
